Frequently Asked Questions

If you have a question that you can't find in the FAQ section, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are here to assist you and provide any information you may need.

  • What is raw honey, and how is it different from regular honey?
Raw honey is unprocessed and unfiltered honey, retaining its natural nutrients and enzymes. Regular honey may undergo pasteurization and filtration, which can strip it of many beneficial properties.
  • Can children or pregnant women consume raw honey?
While raw honey is generally safe for most people, pregnant women and children under one year old should avoid honey altogether due to the risk of botulism.
  • What is herb-infused raw honey?
Herb-infused raw honey is made by steeping herbs, spices, or botanicals in raw honey over a period of time. The honey absorbs the flavors, aroma, and beneficial compounds from the herbs, creating a unique and flavorful concoction.
  • Are the herbs used in herb-infused raw honey pesticide-free?
Yes, we use pesticide-free herbs in our herb-infused raw honey to ensure the highest quality and safety for our customers.
  • Does herb-infused raw honey contain any additives?
No, our herb-infused raw honey is made with pure, natural ingredients. We DO NOT add any artificial flavors, essensial oils, colors, or preservatives, ensuring that you enjoy a genuinely authentic and wholesome product.
  • What is creamed honey, and what makes it unique?
Creamed honey is a type of honey that has been intentionally crystallized to achieve a smooth and spreadable consistency. Unlike traditional liquid honey, creamed honey undergoes a controlled crystallization process, which results in fine crystals and a velvety texture. This unique form not only enhances the honey's creamy mouthfeel but also prevents it from creating large crystals in the future, making it a popular choice for those who appreciate a different honey experience.
  • How is creamed honey made?
Creamed honey is made by slowly and gently crystallizing raw honey using a process called creaming. During creaming, raw honey is mixed with small honey crystals to serve as "seeds" that promote the growth of uniform and fine crystals, leading to its smooth texture.
  • Are there any nutritional differences between creamed honey and raw honey?
Since creamed honey is made from raw honey without heat processing, both types offer the same nutritional benefits. They contain natural enzymes, antioxidants, and other valuable nutrients that are highly prized for their potential health benefits.
  • How should I store honey to maintain its quality?
Liquid Honey Store honey in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption and crystallization. Creamed Honey Store honey in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Alternatively, you can store creamed honey in the refrigerator to achieve a thick caramel-like texture for a different honey experience.
  • Can honey go bad?
Honey has an almost indefinite shelf life if stored properly. While raw liquid honey may crystallize over time, it doesn't spoil or go bad.
  • Does creamed honey crystallize over time?
While raw liquid honey can crystallize over time, creamed honey has already undergone controlled crystallization during the manufacturing process. This means that our creamed honey maintains its smooth and creamy texture for an extended period.
  • Can I still consume crystallized honey?
Absolutely! Crystallized honey is safe to eat and retains all its nutritional properties. You can use it as it is or gently warm it to return it to a liquid state.
  • Can I refrigerate honey to extend its shelf life?
Refrigeration is not necessary for honey. In fact, storing liquid honey in the fridge can accelerate crystallization. It is best to store it in a cool, dry pantry. On the other hand, refrigerating creamed honey may cause it to harden further, turning it into a thick caramel-like consistency.
  • Will creamed honey turns back into liquid?
Yes, creamed honey can melt and partially turns back into liquid honey if exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources. To rectify this, stir the honey gently before placing the jar in the fridge. Allow it to cool for a while, and the crystalline structure will reform, returning the honey to its creamy consistency. This simple step helps maintain the smooth texture. It's important to note that the quality and flavor of the honey remain unchanged during this process.
